When
To Go
Morocco has a Mediterranean, subtropical climate, making
Marrakech beautiful all year round. However, temperatures in the
Summer months, particularly August, can be very high. The best
time to visit is in the late Spring, and as the most popular time
is classed as high season.
In Winter the normally mild climate does change slightly, particularly
at night, and warm clothes would be a good idea. At higher altitudes
such as up in the Atlas Mountains, temperatures are much lower
and the mountain peaks are frequently covered with snow. But this
juxtaposition of climate provides spectacular scenery giving you
the best of all seasons, and with over 300 days of sunshine a
year Marrakech is the perfect destination all year round.
