Founded in the 1940's,
La Maison Arabe was opened by two adventurous French women who
had originally intended to operate as a restaurant. Famous in
its heyday with the jet-set, this spectacularly restored riad
now functions as a luxury hotel with delicate and carefully chosen
décor and furnishings that retain the atmosphere and settings
that made it famous over forty years ago.
Situated in the shadows of the Bab Doukkala
Mosque, La Maison Arabe benefits from a superb location that gives
easy access to all the famous sights and places of interest that
Marrakech has to offer. Within walking distance of the Koutoubia,
the Jemaa El Fna Square and the modern business district of Guéliz,
La Maison Arabe has been described by Air France magazine 'Madame'
as 'like something out of Arabian nights'.
